Welcome to the best training experience of your life!

This summer we invite you to join us at Red Dragons Soccer Camp where you'll experience aspects of summer training that you just can't get on your own. We know how hard it is to remain motivated during the summer months, especially away from club/school teams. Therefore, we want to teach, coach and more importantly inspire you to be the best athlete you can be.

PROGRAM
Our soccer camp is a unique combination of Speed, Stamina and Soccer Techniques. It was created by combining the Soccer Skills of Coach Purificato, Varsity Soccer Head Coach of ST. FRANCIS PREP High School and the Track & Field skills of Coach Devesin, Speed and Jump Coach of BISHOP FORD CENTRAL High School. Through the discipline of routine practice sessions we will help you pinpoint certain trouble spots in your specialty area. You'll finish this summer with new techniques, new energy and new friends.

BEGINNERS
There will be an emphasis on basic training fundamentals and injury prevention. Skills and techniques will be covered thoroughly for the athletes in their desired disciplines.

COMPETITIVE
We cover the latest training techniques and provide highly individualized coaching. We try to eliminate costly mistakes or incorrect form. Remember, training is fun and the discipline of strict consistent training is the way to peak performance.

WHAT TO EXPECT
A typical day would start with a good warm up followed by some thorough stretching. After this athletes would rotate between different Soccer, Speed, and Stamina Disciplines. Which include and are not limited to Ball approach, Polymetrics, Passing, Offensive group attacking, Striking, Sprinting for ball position, Ball Crossing, Defensive strategy and Explosive acceleration drills. Our afternoons will end with supervised mini-games. So athletes can practices the skills they have learned.

Topics to be covered include but are not limited to:

  • Developing a Training Plan
  • Training Concepts
  • Proper Mechanics
  • Safety Training

WHAT YOU NEED
You are responsible for your own training/playing shoes and
practice clothing, lunch and water bottle. We recommend light T-shirts, tank tops, playing shorts, towel and a water bottle. (Don’t forget the sunscreen.)

START TIME
Practice begins promptly at 9 A.M. and no credit will be given for lateness. We understand that parents have to work so we provide an early drop off of 8:30 and late pick up at 3:30. We set aside 12:00 to 12:30 for lunch. Any athlete who damages camp equipment will be charged for the full repair and/or replacement. All athletes are expected to participate in all registered sessions.

WHERE
We practice at the spacious Creedmoor Farm Park Fields. A large well maintained open air facility. Operated by the Little Neck Douglaston Youth Club. Located in Douglaston Queens on Commonwealth Blvd. behind the Queen’s Childrens Hospital. Access to the field is located on the service road before the Hospital.
