ABOUT RED DRAGONS SOCCER

The Origins of Red Dragons soccer goes back to the 2001 High School Soccer Season. The philosophies of Coach Purificato and Coach Devesin came together and Red Dragons Soccer was born.

Physical strength, speed, and agility, combined with soccer skills and finesse is the root of the Red Dragons program. The fruits of the program first became evident when the St. Francis Prep soccer team won their first State Championship in 2003. Coach Purificato believes in physical fitness and hard nosed soccer. When he brought Coach Devesin on in 2001, the two combined their abilities, knowledge of physical fitness, and the game of soccer.

Since then, they have passed on  the Red Dragon winning philosophy to many student athletes.  The Athletes have taken it with them to their college careers and beyond.
